› Senior Engineer
LGCI has an immediate opening for Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Senior Project Manager to successfully manage geotechnical projects in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This position is based in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
The position entails managing geotechnical projects, including exploration programs and field operations during construction, preparing reports, overseeing the preparation of geotechnical reports by others, preparing proposals, setting up and monitoring budgets, performing geotechnical analyses and mentoring junior staff to perform the same, effectively managing client satisfaction; and participating in the growth of the operation.
The Preferred Candidate:
- Must have a P.E. license in MA
- PE License in RI preferred
- Must have a MSCE degree
- Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering (experience with MassDOT and MSBA project desirable)
- Displays strong technical skills including the performance of shallow and deep foundation analysis, support of excavation and slope stability analysis, ground improvement techniques, and seismic and liquefaction analyses.
- Must have demonstrable/excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate leadership skills and ability to lead small group of engineers.
- Must have ability to work independently and within a group.
- Must be willing to participate in business development
- Must be result oriented and must possess organization and planning skills with great attention to detail
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be proficient with MS Office, relevant technical software required, and gINT.
- Must be eligible to work in the US. LGCI is an E-Verify company.
